In the clip, Marley Williams, who plays Dex Varga-Murphy, and Riley Bryant, who plays JJ Varga-Murphy, make an appearance to point out Nell's unusual artwork choice.
The artwork in question depicts Nell's dad Toadie cheating on his wife Sonya with fake Dee Bliss aka Andrea Somers.
Fans of the soap will remember that Andrea showed up pretending to be Toadie's lost wife Dee, who disappeared on their wedding day back in 2003.
"I mean, everyone knows that when you make a school project, a few secrets have to let loose," Bryant quipped.
"Even if it's about your dad's affairs," Williams jokingly added.
Meanwhile, fans have seen some familiar faces return to the show, with Anne Charleston returning to the soap 24 years after her character Madge Bishop tragically died.
Don't worry, Madge isn't back from the dead, Anne is back as a mysterious character who bears a striking resemblance to Madge, named Agnes Adair.
Anne also makes a brief appearance in the Instagram clip, saying: "Hi there, nice to be here after many years, 20 years I guess. And it is quite different and I'm getting a little bit lost. But I'm sure after a few days I'll get it together."
