13 huge Neighbours spoilers reveal shock death aftermath

 What's next on Ramsay Street?

Next week on Neighbours, the drama in Erinsborough is only just beginning after the dramatic 40th anniversary episodes.

As a murder investigation begins, two characters face trouble with the police and another could be hiding a big secret.

Elsewhere, Chelsea struggles to win over Terese, Byron and Sadie remain on the rocks, and Agnes discovers the truth about her connection to Madge.

Here's our guide to 13 big moments coming up.

1. Krista and Chelsea come face-to-face again

Krista returns from her honeymoon and is shocked to learn that Chelsea is back in town with a baby.

Chelsea pays a visit to Krista's apartment, hoping to make amends after causing Krista to tragically lose her baby last year. Understandably, Krista brands Chelsea a monster and warns her to stay away.

2. Seb's body is found

Krista and Leo try to resolve their relationship issues after the dramatic row that ended their honeymoon.

Their make-or-break conversation is interrupted when they learn that Seb's body has been found in Lassiters Lake. As Leo has a mysterious scratch on his knuckle, there's a chance that he could have been involved in this grisly incident.

3. Leo is caught lying to the police

Detective Rafe Fox takes the lead in the police investigation into Seb's death. Leo decides to lie to the police about his whereabouts on the night of the murder.

Leo's deception implicates Aaron, who spotted him arguing with Seb on that fateful evening.

Aaron is uneasy over lying to the police. Unfortunately, Leo's cover story quickly falls apart when Detective Fox piles the pressure on Aaron.

Before long, Leo learns that the case is officially a murder investigation and he's a person of interest in the inquiry.

4. Another suspect joins the line-up

Krista and Fallon feel conflicted over their grief for Seb after his bad behaviour.

Fallon coldly points out that Seb can't hurt her anymore, but Krista gets suspicious after the ambiguous comment.

5. Paul comes to Leo's rescue

Paul takes control of Leo's crisis by hiring a lawyer to act in his best interests. It's good timing, as Leo is asked to provide a DNA sample to help with the investigation.

Paul also notes that Leo is taking his stress out on Krista. He encourages Krista to keep the faith with Leo, convinced that they'll reunite eventually.

6. Terese loses patience with Chelsea

Paul takes his mind off Leo and Krista's troubles by spending time with his baby son Thomas. It's difficult for Terese as she sees Paul, Chelsea and Thomas looking so close.

Terese eventually speaks her mind, telling Chelsea that she isn't convinced by her new saintly act.

7. Terese's outburst has consequences

Chelsea starts avoiding Paul after her run-in with Terese. When Paul wants to know why, Terese is forced to come clean about how she snapped at Chelsea.

Although Paul is understanding, he points out to Terese that he'd like to keep Chelsea happy so he can continue to play a role in Thomas's life.

Terese takes the selfless approach by apologising to Chelsea, but will they ever be on positive terms?

8. Remi worries about Cara

Remi notices that Cara is territorial around baby Thomas and starts to worry that she's getting overly attached.

Chelsea doesn't see any issue, but Remi remains fearful over Cara's motivations.

9. Karl is caught out by Darcy

After chatting to her sister Carmel on the phone, Susan decides to give Darcy the benefit of the doubt following his suspicious return to Erinsborough. The Kennedys learn that Darcy plans to open a health clinic in the area and he's looking for investors.

Later, Darcy discovers that Karl has become reliant on painkillers and he's taking more than his prescribed dose. He points out the dangers to Karl, who's left fearful over what Darcy might do with the incriminating information.

10. Karl is left at Darcy's mercy

Karl comes clean with Darcy over his recent issues with the painkillers. He claims that he's in control of the situation, so Darcy agrees not to tell Susan what's going on.

Darcy promises to help Karl wean himself off the pills. As Karl tries to cast aside his previous doubts over Darcy, he agrees to go along with his treatment plan.

11. Byron is rejected by Sadie

Byron continues to get the silent treatment from Sadie after failing to save her in the garage fire. Sadie's housemates encourage her to at least speak to Byron, but when she does, she's not satisfied by his explanation.

Byron decides that it may be best to keep a low profile for a while, so he makes plans to go to visit Victor alongside Nicolette.

12. Sadie's troubles get even worse

When the time comes for Sadie to be discharged from the hospital, she chooses to move back in with Andrew and Wendy rather than returning to the share house. Byron fears that Sadie wants to break up, but Holly and Max suggest that she just needs time and space.

Later, Sadie loses control in front of the mirror at home and she starts to smash everything in sight.

13. The Agnes mystery is resolved

Harold decides to spend some time with Agnes, but he ends up making a hasty exit after becoming overwhelmed by her resemblance to Madge.

Agnes researches the Ramsay family history and discovers that she is indeed related to Madge, via her great grandmother.

JJ has been helping with the investigation, but Agnes asks him to keep Harold in the dark until she's had time to process the news herself.
