Married At First Sight's biggest mystery finally resolved! Iconic Australian actress revealed as the series narrator
The mystery surrounding the narrator of Channel Nine's Married At First Sight has finally been revealed - and it was not who people expected.
Despite long-standing rumours Today show star Georgie Gardner was behind the iconic voice, it has now been confirmed it is in fact Home and Away star Helen Dallimore.
A representative for Dallimore, 53, confirmed to Yahoo Lifestyle she has been the narrator of the show for several years.
Confusion around the identity of the narrator arose after fellow Nine star Gardner, 54, held the role for the first four seasons of the show.
Various online sources still list her as the voice despite her leaving the position in 2017.
While Dallimore does not receive an on-screen credit for her work on MAFS, she is one of Australia's most esteemed actresses.

The NIDA graduate has appeared in many renowned Aussie productions, including All Saints, House Husbands and Water Rats.
Gardner was the original MAFS narrator in 2015, but Dallimore took over the role in 2018.
Many fans were convinced that Gardner was still narrating MAFS because the Internet Movie Database currently credits her in the role.
Former MAFS star Ollie Skelton, who is also voice over artist, gushed over Dallimore's skill at guiding fans through the show's twists and turns.
'It would be the best gig in the world,' he told Yahoo Lifestyle last year.
'I reckon there’s a tongue in cheek she brings to the reads which I think on paper would be quite dry.'
Best know as a stage star, Dallimore rose to fame as Glinda in the West End production of Wicked in 2006.
In 2010, she appeared as the Mitzy in Home and Away and recently she appeared in Channel Ten's crime drama North Shore.
