Home and Away confirms kidnap drama for two key characters

 Nerida's final revenge unfolds.

Home and Away has revealed that Eden and Abigail Fowler will both be kidnapped by new villain Nerida Mullins.

The sisters face terrible danger on Australian screens this week as Nerida reappears to take her final revenge.

Nerida made her first appearance in Australian episodes late last year, when she was introduced as a former client of counsellor Tim Russell.

The newcomer's obsession with Tim led to shocking scenes in the 2024 season finale episode, as she brutally attacked him and later framed Cash Newman for the crime.

Tim was left in a critical condition and spent three weeks in a coma, but he has since regained consciousness and has cleared Cash's name by confirming Nerida as his attacker.

In follow-on scenes this week, Eden pays another visit to Tim in hospital and prepares to break his heart. Tim and Cash had both become rivals for Eden's affections before Nerida committed her violent attack.

Eden reveals that, while Tim was in a coma, she reconnected with Cash and realised that she still loves him. Upset by the news, Tim asks Eden to leave for good.

As Eden heads out of the Northern Districts Hospital, Nerida is lying in wait and attacks her with a syringe.

Eden later wakes up in an abandoned shed, finding Abigail by her side. The Fowler siblings are both at Nerida's mercy as she considers getting rid of them for good.

Meanwhile, Cash focuses on solving the Nerida case now that he's in the clear and can work for the police again. Can he track down the dangerous criminal before she does any further harm?

Nicholas Cartwright, who plays Cash, told Australia's TV Week magazine: "His goal is to pursue Nerida until she is arrested and Eden is safe. He has to find her."

Home and Away fans in the UK will see these scenes on Channel 5 in late March.
