Neighbours confirms details of Jane Harris's new romance

 Newcomer Clint arrives next week.

Neighbours has confirmed that Jane Harris's new romance storyline will begin next week.

Show bosses recently revealed that Jane will start dating a younger man – as first teased in the 2025 trailer which aired before Christmas.

Jane has pledged to make a clean break with her love life after failed attempts to revisit the past with the likes of Mike Young and Victor Stone.

After some encouragement from her loved ones, Jane realised that she should find a way to meet some entirely new people rather than trying to reconnect with old flames.

Next week, Jane starts using a dating app which focuses on forming matches based on personality rather than looks, so it doesn't contain any photos.

Before long, Jane confides in her family and friends about how she's enjoying conversations with one guy in particular. Feeling positive, she has nicknamed him 'Renaissance Man'.

Jane's daughter Nicolette Stone and friend Terese Willis both point out the drawbacks of falling for someone before even seeing their picture. Despite this, Jane stands firm by revealing how well they've bonded over shared interests in books, music and puzzles.

In the end, Jane arranges to meet up with her mystery man Clint in person. Jason Wilder has taken on the role.

Jane is taken aback to realise that Clint is considerably younger than her, but will he encourage her to give their partnership a chance regardless?

In Neighbours' recent trailer, Jane's son Byron Stone is seen expressing concern over her new love interest in follow-on episodes.

Feeling uneasy over what's going on, Byron asks: "Do you really believe this guy's for real?"

Is Byron right to be concerned or does Clint have no agenda?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Tuesday, January 14.
