Home and Away's Tane Parata makes a commitment to Harper Matheson on UK screens next week.

Tane promises to make their baby his number one priority following the big news that Harper is pregnant.

Harper recently discovered that she's expecting Tane's baby following a one-night stand. She has so far delayed telling Tane, struggling to find the right time due to the other commitments in his life.

In this week's episodes, that finally changes as Harper blurts out the truth to stop Tane from fighting with Perri Hayes' villainous father Carl.

Fearful that Tane could go to prison, Harper tells him about the baby so that he doesn't throw away his future. Tane responds by fleeing to Salt and getting drunk, before turning up on Harper's doorstep to ask the many questions that he has.

In follow-on scenes next week, Harper is annoyed with Tane after he collapsed on her sofa following his drinking session.

He apologises for his actions and Harper remains unimpressed, although she does confirm that she wants to hear what he thinks about the pregnancy.

The gym boss gets angry when Harper reveals that she considered not going through with the pregnancy. Seeming insensitive towards Harper's right to choose, a pushy Tane demands to know whether he was going to get a say over what happened to their child.

Things only get worse when Tane finds out that others in the Bay knew about the pregnancy before him, including Xander Delaney. Harper clarifies that Xander found out accidentally.

Once they've worked through the various tensions, Tane finally returns to Harper and confirms that he's "all in" with the pregnancy.

Harper is sceptical, pointing out that Tane drank until he blacked out following the news about the baby and then avoided having a conversation with her about it. She urges Tane not to feel pressured to make such a big decision now.
