Home and Away’s Levi to share regrets over Mackenzie affair
Mackenzie is hurt.
Home and Away's Dr Levi Fowler will regret his relationship with former patient Mackenzie Booth in new scenes airing in the UK.
In next week's episodes on Channel 5 and 5STAR, the doctor is haunted by the end of his marriage to Imogen. He starts wondering whether he and Mac deserve to be happy after what they did to her.
During a dinner with Mac, Tane Parata and newcomer Perri, Levi grows quiet and makes an excuse to leave early.
Mackenzie picks up on Levi's bad mood and confronts him the next day.
She asks him to open up to her about what's going on and is disappointed to hear he doesn't think they should have a shot at happiness after the hurt they've caused.
Mac attempts to reassure her partner, telling him they deserve to be happy just like anybody else. However, her words do not affect Levi, who continues to be riddled with guilt.
Mackenzie is upset as Levi's negative thoughts aren't the welcome back she'd expected after having been away for two weeks.
Later on, Levi visits Mac while she's at work and apologises for their argument.
Mac forgives him and tells him he just needs more time to come to terms with what happened and heal.
Levi's relationship with Mackenzie has attracted criticism ever since it became public in earlier episodes.
Levi's sister Eden has been clear about not being a fan of the new couple. In a heated discussion, Eden told Levi she didn't appreciate him going behind Imogen's back and accused him of behaving like their dad, who cheated on their mum.
