Home and Away's Cash to make arrest as murder plot continues

Is the River Boys' reign of terror finally over?

Home and Away's Cash Newman is set to make an arrest in upcoming episodes of the soap.

Cash recently started a job at the police force, and learned that local gang the River Boys was likely responsible for his predecessor Franklin's death.

This week's scenes will see the discovery of evidence linking the death to gang member Dingo. Meanwhile, Cash's sister Felicity is now dating gang leader Rory Templeton.

In scenes set to air next week, Cash goes over the footage of the night of Franklin's murder, and when comparing the tattoo to a photo of Dingo they have on file, he decides to bring him in for questioning.

Although the police don't have enough evidence to charge him, Dingo is spooked. He admits to Rory that he's held onto Franklin's police badge, and is told to get rid of it immediately. Dingo soon arrives at Mali Hudson's place and gives him a locked bag to hold onto, threatening that Mali owes him a favour.

After a failed attempt to break into the bag with Tane Parata, Mali manages to get into the bag on his own and finds Franklin's police badge and a crowbar wrapped in a bloodied towel.

Mali is horrified. He calls Rory and tells him what he's found, and that he wants nothing to do with the gang. Rory is furious with Dingo for not disposing of the bag properly, and hits him.

Meanwhile, after learning that traces of Franklin's blood have been found in Dingo's vehicle, Cash and the police set out to arrest him. Mali heads to Mangrove River as well, intending to return the bag and its contents.

Cash and Rose Delaney manage to arrest Dingo on suspicion of murder after he makes a failed attempt to run away. Rose is puzzled to see Mali at the scene along with the River Boys and wonders why he's there.

Meanwhile, Cash gets Eden Fowler to take Felicity away to hang out for the afternoon.

Cash has been pretending he's unhappy about Rory visiting the house to see Felicity, and when Felicity tries to convince Eden to leave her alone so she can spend time with Rory, her friend refuses.

Felicity soon realises that Cash must have talked Eden into keeping her occupied – and she's not happy about it.
