Home and Away fans spot massive mistake: 'You guys screwed up'

Home and Away fans were quick to spot an error in an upcoming promo, which gave away the conclusion to a certain storyline.

Home and Away fans have pointed out an accidental error from the show after Tuesday night's episode ended on a cliffhanger with Alf Stewart's life in danger. While Alf was left convulsing on the table while Dr Bree stared at him in absolute shock, the promo for an upcoming episode definitely gave away what's likely to happen next.

While it didn't show Bree getting out of her freeze-frame state and saving Alf's life, it did show Leah dramatically telling Alf of all people that she had left Justin — and Alf was looking well and upright on his balcony at home, not half-dead in the hospital like we last saw him.

Of course, Home and Away fans picked up on the error straight away, poking fun at the show. "You guys screwed up," one person said on Instagram. "You just showed Alf on the verandah obviously fine as Leah arrives saying she has left Justin."

"Exactly! That's what I was thinking!" another fan said.

Others were also confused with the Alf and Bree storyline but for different reasons — such as, why was Bree the one taking care of Alf when actual cardiothoracic surgeon Levi was standing nearby before Alf went into distress again.

Levi should be his treating doctor, not Bree. She should be dismissed," one person said. "Levi’s a heart specialist, he should be treating Alf not this loose unit!" another person agreed.

So why is Bree, an established doctor, unable to pull it together and save a life right now? Well, most fans think it's because she's holding onto the trauma of not being able to save Flick from her brain aneurysm which is all understandable enough until another life hangs in the balance.

"He’s gonna be fine you can see him in the promo he’s gonna make it everyone ❤️. But Bree needs serious help," one fan said. "I hope she gets fired for not helping him," another ranted, while someone else didn't mince their words, saying, "She should be getting help instead of putting other people’s lives in danger. She’s an unfit doctor and being too stubborn and arrogant to see it!"

"FFS, not another Bree meltdown!" someone else exclaimed. "Wouldn't have Bree as my doctor. Why she just standing over him and not helping him?" someone else asked.

Well thank god it's a fictional town, everyone.
