Ada Nicodemou reveals her puffy face after admitting to cosmetic work as she returns from a weekend away with James Stewart and his daughter Scout

Ada Nicodemou stepped out with a rather swollen face as she returned home from a weekend away with boyfriend James Stewart and his daughter Scout.

On Sunday, the trio emerged from a taxi that had picked them up from the airport and were seen gathering their luggage before heading inside.

Ada, 47, dressed casually in a brown and white floral-patterned maxi dress and kept warm in a denim jacket.

The Home and Away actress paired her look with brown sandals and accessorised with a cream linen Chloe tote bag, which retails for $1,710.

Meanwhile, her on and off screen partner James, 48, looked relaxed in a white T-shirt and black shorts.

His daughter, who he shares with ex-partner and actress Jessica Marais, rocked a Rolling Stones graphic T-shirt, black shorts and black converse high top sneakers.

Ada sported a puffy face after claims she had a 'full body upgrade' years ago.

In a 2018 interview, surgeon Dr Meaghan Heckenberg claimed she believes Ada has had 'rhinoplasty, muscle-relaxing injections and dermal fillers'.

'Ada looks like she's had rhinoplasty and probably some muscle-relaxing injections and dermal fillers to give her that fresh look,' Dr Heckenberg told Woman's Day.

'An eyebrow lift can also be achieved by careful placement of muscle-relaxing injections, such as Botox or Dysport. Of course, she benefits from her Mediterranean heritage so she's got great skin anyway.'

Dr Heckenberg has not treated the actress herself, and Daily Mail Australia contacted Ada for comment at the time of the report.

However, Ada finally admitted to undergoing cosmetic work over the years.

In 2019, she confirmed she had a breast augmentation after years of speculation.

The pair dressed casually following their return from their relaxing getaway

The mother-of-one made the admission while responding to an Instagram troll who implied she was 'fake'.

'I don't use fillers and I rarely use Botox and the only surgery that I've done [that] is "fake" is breast augmentation, which I have every right to do,' she wrote.

The Sydney-born actress told New Idea magazine in 2017 that she wouldn't rule out using Botox or laser treatments in the future.

She claimed it was important to do 'whatever makes you feel good', adding that it was up to the individual.

'I think these days most people are doing bits and pieces. Botox and lasers are like facials were 20 years ago,' Ada said.

She added that women should be honest about work they have had done.

'I hate when people lie about it. People need to be truthful. There's nothing wrong with it within reason,' she said.

Ada shares one son, Johnas, 12, with her ex-husband Chrys Xipolitas.

In late 2015, Ada and Chrys called time on their nine-year marriage and publicly confirmed news of their split just months later.

Ada went on to date millionaire businessman Adam Rigby but the couple went their separate ways just before Christmas last year after eight years together.

She has since found love again with her Home and Away co-star James Stewart, with news of their romance emerging when they were seen kissing on Anzac Day.

The pair have known each other since 1998 when they co-starred on the short-lived Channel Ten soap opera Breakers and have both been staples on Home and Away since 2016.

Ada described her blossoming romance with James as 'unexpected' as she broke her silence on their relationship last week.

'Jimmy and I are together, yes. It's only early days. It's very recent and very unexpected. I'm super happy. It's really lovely,' she told Stellar Magazine.

She insisted their Home And Away characters Leah Patterson and Justin Morgan getting married on-screen was not an early sign of their real-life romance.

The wedding episode aired on April 9 but was filmed around six months earlier, with Ada insisting their 'genuine feelings' only emerged later.

'There weren't genuine feelings then,' she explained. 'It was shot last year. But I think whenever you're watching any TV couple, you're always wondering if they really do have feelings.'

The couple began dating after Ada split from Adam Rigby and James finalised his divorce from Sarah Roberts in March.
