Home And Away fans left confused as they declare one character is 'missing'

Home And Away fans have grown concerned for one particular character, after they noticed nobody ever mentions him anymore despite there being no suggestion he'd left..

Home And Away fans are concerned for one beloved character.

Viewers of the Australian soap pointed out that one particular character seems to have vanished from screens. But it isn't any of the main stars of the show – it's Justin Morgan's dog Buddy.

Fans flocked to Facebook to talk about it, with one wondering what had happened to the pooch. They wrote: "What happened to Buddy? Never see him anymore."

Another said: "Poor Buddy, he must be starving, no one ever feeds him, let alone takes him out on daily walks?"

Someone else joked: "He's in the backyard." While someone else had a very different theory.

They wrote: "He heard Justin singing and playing guitar and ran far away like a dog with fireworks, poor thing."

Meanwhile, other fans suggested soap bosses should show more of the characters' home lives. They said: "No pets. No kids. No school. Weird."

And someone else said: "I love Home And Away but they need to get back to the old show with the kids and school and bring Buddy back too, make it more of a family show again."

Home And Away is currently going through a tough time, with Channel Seven, who produce it, pausing salaries.

Some of the soap's biggest stars, including Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart, have had any pay rises stopped due to Channel Seven cutting jobs.

A source recently told Daily Mail Australia: "I can't imagine now would be a good time for Ada Nicodemou or James Stewart to renegotiate their contracts.

"While the show is still riding high in the ratings, the long running soap won't be spared on the budget cuts – as the network tights its belt. The current executive team is preserving the network but it is fair to say the glory days of high paid soap stars have gone."

Home And Away airs on Channel 5 in the UK
