13 huge Neighbours spoilers for next week
What's next on Ramsay Street?
Holly, Heath, Tess, Haz, Mackenzie, Toadie and Melanie all take centre stage in tense scenes - but one of them won't make it back alive.
Here's our full guide to 13 big moments in the soap's highly-anticipated 'Death in the Outback' week.
1. Paul and Krista uncover evidence of Tess's lies
Tess hands over the contract of sale for the Sincast Corporation's share in Lassiters and Paul keeps up the pretence that he's fooled by her act.
Krista informs Paul that Tess took money from the business to commission work from a mystery shopping company, which turned out to be bogus. Krista and Paul agree that it's time for a deeper dive into the accounts to figure out what Tess and Heath are up to.
2. Holly decides to take a trip with Heath
Sadie informs Mackenzie that Heath is seeing Holly and Tess at the same time. Mackenzie tries to warn Holly that Heath is not to be trusted, but her intervention backfires when Holly feels judged.
Tess instructs Heath to head out to Warrawee Station in the Outback to confirm that their business has been completely wound up. Holly offers to join Heath in Mt Harper, telling Karl and Susan that she has arranged a trip with a friend from the housekeeping department at Lassiters.
3. Heath threatens Mackenzie again
Before leaving for the trip, Heath confronts Mackenzie for a second time over her meddling. Mackenzie fights back, revealing that she has discovered Heath downplayed his involvement in insurance fraud when quizzed about his dodgy past recently.
Mackenzie also accuses Heath of toying with Holly, but he responds with another menacing threat.
As Holly heads off with Heath, she's still unaware of his darker side. Danger seems just around the corner when they both turn off their phones, agreeing to switch off from their current stresses in Erinsborough.
4. Toadie and Melanie are caught snooping
Mackenzie tells Toadie that Heath threatened her. When Toadie vows to confront Heath about his menacing behaviour, Melanie senses that he's not in the right frame of mind for a showdown and decides to join him.
Toadie and Melanie end up letting themselves into Heath and Tess's mansion, where nobody is home.
They find the couple's fake passports alongside evidence of their embezzlement scheme, but Toadie and Melanie's detective work is interrupted when dangerous accomplice Justin turns up and catches them snooping.
5. Toadie and Melanie go missing
Terese panics when Toadie spends a night away from home without explanation. She checks in with the Kennedys, who reveals that Melanie is also missing.
Mackenzie confirms that Toadie and Melanie were spending time together shortly before they disappeared. All of the Ramsay Street residents are unaware that Toadie and Melanie are being held captive after being kidnapped.
6. Paul sees Tess making her escape
Paul finds out that Tess was responsible for sabotaging Lassiters' contract for the Experiences Tour. He rushes to the mansion to confront her, but she ignores him as she puts her suitcase into a car and speeds off.
Tess arrives at the airport, where she tries to conceal her next move by deliberately placing herself in front of the security cameras and holding a boarding pass for a decoy flight to Honolulu.
7. Krista finally calls Reece
Krista wants Reece's advice over the growing evidence of Tess's deceit, but she fears that contacting her sister would undermine the independence she has built up in recent months.
When Krista does finally call Reece, she discovers that her sibling knows nothing about Tess's efforts to sell the Corporation's share of the hotel. It's clear that Tess has gone rogue and something isn't right.
8. Evidence of foul play is found at the mansion
Police become involved in Toadie and Melanie's disappearance, but Andrew raises the possibility that the former couple could be hiding out on purpose. Terese refuses to believe that Toadie would cheat on her again.
Paul finds one of Melanie's pig charms at the mansion, which is soon cordoned off as a potential crime scene. The detectives find dried blood on the ground, which leaves Terese devastated as the signs don't look good.
9. Mackenzie and Haz head to the Outback
In the outback, Heath continues to discourage Holly from contacting home as he fears that Mackenzie will expose his recent threat.
With concern growing over where Holly is and who she's with, Mack resorts to drastic measures by asking Haz to hack into their friend's phone.
When Mack and Haz confirm that Holly is in Mt Harper with Heath, they realise that something doesn't seem right and agree to head out there on the first possible flight to get some answers.
10. Mackenzie and Haz get lost
When Mackenzie and Haz arrive in Mt Harper, they begin their search to find Holly. Krista gets in touch with them, explaining that Tess bought a cattle station called Warrawee and that's probably where they can find Holly.
Mackenzie and Haz try their best to help, but they end up getting lost in the outback themselves.
11. Terese leans on Paul for support
Paul offers to stay with Terese while she awaits answers on Toadie's whereabouts.
Terese tells Paul that he seems to have been avoiding her since returning from his trip to the US. Paul confirms that he was trying to change his ways by being more respectful towards her marriage to Toadie.
12. Holly realises the truth about Heath
Holly slowly grows concerned about Heath's behaviour and snoops through his bag for clues. She finds a mysterious key, as well as written evidence of his dodgy financial transactions.
Holly tries her best to pretend that everything is normal around Heath, but there's a sense of menace in the air as Heath could turn at any moment.
13. There's a death in the Outback
The week concludes with tense scenes and most of the storyline detail from Thursday's episode (August 22) is currently being kept tightly under wraps.
One unlucky character meets a terrifying fate, while the lives of others will never the same again. Who won't make it home?
Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach Comedy.
