Home and Away star Ada Nicodemou has finally confirmed her romance with co-star James Stewart.

The Leah Patterson actress, 46, and the Justin Morgan actor, 48, played an onscreen couple on the Australian soap.

And the actress finally confirmed that the rumours are true, with the actor recently telling Stellar Magazine: ‘Jimmy and I are together, yes. It’s only early days.

She added: ‘It’s very recent and very unexpected. I’m super happy. It’s really lovely.’

Speaking about playing an onscreen couple, she added: ‘There weren’t genuine feelings then.

‘It was shot last year. But I think whenever you’re watching any TV couple, you’re always wondering if they really do have feelings.’

This comes after Home and Away actress Sarah Roberts and James divorced after five years of marriage.

The actress who played Willow Harris in the Australian soap, recently shared the news that she and her former Justin Morgan co-star have grown apart.

‘I just want to say that I am divorced,’ Sarah told Stellar magazine as reported by the Daily Mail.

She added: ‘Sometimes people grow apart and that’s okay. I got to a point where I realised I couldn’t grow in the way I wanted to within this particular relationship.’

Home and Away returned to the screen this year, with tragedy, terror and multiple traumas on the cards for the residents of Summer Bay.

The Channel 5 soap has taken its annual Christmas hiatus, with fans having been left with a mammoth cliffhanger that saw Justin Morgan and Ada’s character Leah left to die.

However, they were both fine and recently tied the knot with Justin, surrounded by family and friends, fans of the serial will notice a few familiar faces amongst the crowd.

In the meantime, don’t forget that you can resist some of Home and Away’s finest episodes with a selection of classic outings available on My5, dropping each weekday at 12pm.
