Home and Away's Dana Matheson to grow suspicious in Bronte story
But will anyone believe her?
Home and Away's Dana Matheson is set to grow suspicious of con woman Bronte Langford next week. Irene Roberts recently welcomed Bronte into her home after being told that she had a terminal autoimmune disease.
In next week's scenes, Bronte lies and says her disease has been made even worse by consuming the contaminated water at the Diner, and Irene suggests that she sue for compensation.
Irene's housemate and trained nurse Dana finds Bronte's claims bizarre and asks Bree Cameron if it's even possible. Bree offers to talk Bronte through her test results, but the latter quickly makes her excuses and leaves, solidifying the doubt in Dana's mind.
As Dana and Bree talk more about the shiftiness surrounding Bronte, Irene airs her shocking idea to let her friend sue her. Bree offers to look into the clinical trial in Canada and soon discovers that the link to the trial site is broken.
Following that discovery, Dana accuses Bronte of lying about her condition, right as Irene walks in. Bronte plays the victim, and Dana soon finds that her boyfriend Xander and sister Harper think she has gone too far, and they tell her not to attack Bronte any longer. The two soon fall out with her.
The next day, Harper tries to make amends and encourages Dana to make up with Xander as well. But will Dana be able to convince them with her (bang on the money) suspicions?
Home and Away airs these scenes on Monday, July 29, Tuesday, July 30 and Wednesday, July 31 at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
