Neighbours star Viva Bianca responds to Chelsea's exit episode

Chelsea fled from Erinsborough after Krista Sinclair exposed her lies.

Neighbours star Viva Bianca has addressed her character Chelsea Murphy's dramatic exit from the soap.

The schemer was publicly exposed by Krista Sinclair, who finally regained her memory and remembered Chelsea was responsible for locking her in the Lassiter sauna room, ultimately leading her to lose her baby daughter Hope.

Caught out during her own engagement party, Chelsea fled instead of taking responsibility, with Bianca now thanking cast and crew for allowing her to deliver such a complex performance as one of the series' villains.

"Working on this episode brought with it a melting pot of feels," the soap star wrote on Instagram.

"Chelsea's brisk and giddy rise and then thundering fall, 2 handers with some of my fave @neighbours scene partners – [Stefan Dennis, Sara West and Magellan Davis]," she continued.

She also gave a shoutout to "powerhouse directors" Kate Kendall and Lara Blues, writing: "thank you for helping me get there and for holding space for Chelsea's big moments."

Neighbours veteran Dennis, who plays Chelsea's fiancé Paul Robinson, left a sweet comment on Bianca's post, writing: "It was an extreme pleasure working with you and would do it again in a heartbeat."

There is a chance Chelsea could return after making such a swift exit, after all.

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach.
