Home and Away's Bree Cameron to share upsetting news over her father

Bree's troubles continue as she cares for Remi.

Home and Away's Bree Cameron will receive upsetting family news next week, as her protectiveness over boyfriend Remi Carter grows.

In scenes that will air on Channel 5 in the UK next week, Eden Fowler visits her best friend Remi in hospital, where he is recovering after being involved in a serious crash while out on his motorbike.

Eden is quick to spot that Bree almost seems to be keeping guard over Remi, but he downplays Eden's concerns, saying that he can't handle more than one visitor at the moment anyway.

Later on, Bree takes a tense phone call from her mum which leaves her concerned. Although she manages to hide her feelings from Remi, her upset shows on her face after he closes his eyes.

The next day, Kirby Aramoana catches Bree crying and she finally opens up, revealing that her dad has been involved in an accident and is now on life support. However, she insists that her focus remains on Remi and she continues to hide the news from him.

Bree vows that she won't leave Remi alone, but after spending more time soothing him, she ends up collapsing into concerned Kirby's arms.

With Bree showing no signs of telling Remi the truth about her dad, Kirby decides to confide in Felicity Newman instead about Bree's secret. With Felicity's own history with concealing the truth from her estranged husband Tane Parata still weighing on her, Felicity is adamant that the truth should always come out.

Feeling moved by Felicity's words, Kirby goes to Remi and tells him that Bree's father is on life support in hospital. Remi urges Bree to go to see her dying dad, but Bree still has concerns about leaving him.

Opening up, she admits that she has always been terrified that she will be punished for accidentally killing her abusive ex-husband Jacob and explains that she couldn't cope with anything bad happening to Remi.

Remi continues to encourage Bree to go and spend as much time as she can with her father, and she finally agrees to go. How will she handle being away from Remi?

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5, with repeat screenings at 6pm on 5STAR and first look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.
