Home and Away spoilers: Valerie secret 'exposed', Remi collapses and affair confirmed

 Home and Away fans learn more about Valerie as Theo grills her about her family. Elsewhere Remi collapses after lying to Bree as Mackenzie and Levi officially begin an affair.

Irene calls Justin out as he continues turning up at the diner, hoping to catch Leah. Later, Leah, Marilyn and Valerie arrive home to find Justin on the doorstep.

Leah agrees to speak to Justin but makes it clear she's not comfortable with him being there. Looking out for her friend’s best interest, Valerie stops by the garage and tells Justin not to give up.

When Leah receives an invite to dinner from Justin, she's unsure, but Valerie reassures her. Valerie and Theo join Leah and Justin for dinner, and Valerie lightens the mood by persuading Theo to play them something.

Afterwards, Justin walks Leah home, however oversteps when he leans in to kiss her. Meanwhile Theo takes Valerie for a drink at Salt.

She’s a little reluctant to talk about her past but is keen to get to know Theo better. The following day, Theo apologises to Valerie for asking about her family.

Later, Valerie addresses his question about her family. She shares the difficult story of her brother picking her up from a party, the intense argument that followed in the car ride home, and how it resulted in them landing upside-down.

Her brother died, her parents never forgave her and that lead her to a mental hospital. Across the Bay, Mackenzie makes a hasty exit from the hotel after Levi escapes to the bathroom to take a call from his wife.

As Mackenzie is updating Mali, Levi turns up and insists he doesn't want things to end. Mackenzie makes herself clear, once is a mistake, twice is an affair.

Mackenzie turns up at Levi's the next morning, but only to say goodbye. Meanwhile Remi is out of hospital, but lies to Bree that he is still there.

As Eden and Kirby discuss aiding Remi in lying to Bree, his pain escalates. Later, Kirby disagrees with Eden that his level of pain seems normal, but by pushing her away, Remi ends up on the bathroom floor.

Eden is left no choice but to make a call for his safety. She scrolls past Bree and calls Levi. He turns up and with one shot of morphine, Remi is better.

Levi heads to Salt, hoping to see Mackenzie, but Eden invites herself to join her brother. The moment is charged when Mackenzie and Levi speak, and they can’t help but exchange flirty smiles across the bar.

As he's leaving, Levi scans the bar for Mackenzie, but there is no sign of her. Walking outside, Levi spots Mack waiting for him at his car.

They head back to Levi's hotel room, and when they're interrupted by a call from his wife, they ignore it and continue their affair. Later, Eden discovers their kidnappers are being sentenced the following week, and both oshe and Remi have the opportunity to submit victim impact statements.
