Home and Away's Bree Cameron shares exit plan in new scenes

Remi encourages his girlfriend to go.

Home and Away's Bree Cameron considers a future away from Summer Bay next week.

Bree shares her plans with her boyfriend Remi Carter after realising that she needs a new challenge in her life.

In next week's episodes on Channel 5, Bree confides in her friend Xander Delaney about how she still feels guilty over the death of her abusive husband Jacob.

Bree confirms that she has done a lot of work in therapy since killing Jacob in self-defence last year. However, she still can't help thinking about how Jacob would still be around if things had played out differently.

Xander encourages Bree to keep doing the work in therapy if she truly wants to move on from what happened.

Later in the week, Bree tells Remi about her latest therapy session.

Bree's latest conversation with the therapist has helped her to realise that she's living a very safe and controlled life. She now feels ready to break free of that, but isn't sure where to start.

Remi offers to inject some excitement into Bree's life by taking her on a motorbike ride. Bree finds the experience exhilarating and soon shares a major announcement about her future.

Bree explains that she'd like to follow in the footsteps of her new colleague Levi Fowler by volunteering for Doctors Without Borders, but she invites Remi to come with her.

Although Remi agrees, he later confides in his Lyrik bandmate Theo Poulos about how he'd thought the commitment would only last for a couple of weeks. Now that he knows it'd be for a year, he's having second thoughts.

Sheepishly, Remi explains the misunderstanding to Bree, who immediately vows not to go without him.

Remi has other ideas and tells Bree that they can make their relationship work long-distance over the next year. Will Bree go?

Home and Away airs these scenes on Monday, February 26, Wednesday, February 28 and Thursday, February 29 on Channel 5.
