Home and Away Leah star mortified after sending racy snap to parents and ex-husband

Home and Away's Ada Nicodemou recalled the embarrassing moment when she accidentally sent a racy photo of herself to a group chat filled with parents, including her ex-husband.

Home and Away star Ada Nicodemou was left "dying" of embarrassment after she accidentally sent a racy photo to the wrong group chat.

The actress, 46, best known for playing Leah Patterson since 2000, posed up a storm for the cover Stellar magazine but ended up forwarding the picture to a football parents chat instead of her manager. In the sultry shot, Ada sported a blue crop top and matching trousers as she smouldered for the lens.

The soap star was left red-faced as the group chat featured a number of mums and dads and even included her ex-husband, Chrys Xipolitas. She recalled the mortifying moment during an appearance on Australian breakfast radio show 2DAY FM's Hughesy, Ed and Erin last year.

She explained: "So I did a cover for Stellar a while ago and I was sending the cover to my manager, Claire, to see if she liked it. And it's quite racy. Like, boobs are out. You know, midriff – like the whole thing going."

Ada Nicodemou recalled the mortifying moment she sent a racy photo to a group chat filled with parents.

I sent it out and I was wondering why she hadn't responded. Anyway, the next morning I go to my phone and I'm like, 'Oh, my God.' I sent it to the group chat'."

Ada continued: "But not only did I send it [to mums], I'm talking mums, dads, my ex-husband... and no one responded at all." When she realised the mistake, Ada revealed she sent a follow up message to apologise, however, no one replied again.

"Everyone already hated me. But the mums, like the mums hate me," the TV star confessed as presenter Erin Molan laughed: "Everyone thinks you did it on purpose!"

She also posted the photo of the cover on Instagram alongside a video explaining the embarrassing moment. "Totally died when I accidentally sent this photo to around 30 adults on my sons soccer group chat," she added in the caption.

Leah has been struggling in recent weeks as she remains haunted by her horrifying kidnapping ordeal. She has been traumatised by nightmares and is now battling insomnia. During Thursday's episode (February 8) of the Channel 5 soap, Justin (James Stewart) rushed to Leah's side after learning she had been in an accident.

Returning home, Leah confessed the accident was her fault as she fell asleep at the wheel. Naturally concerned, Justin presses for more information. But Leah is done talking as shuts her fiancé's line of questioning down.
