Coming up on Home and Away, a weekend camping trip ends in tragedy for Remi and Eden.

Elsewhere, Mac suffers a second heart attack, Tane is unable to forget the past, and Theo gets an unwanted surprise.

1. Mac suffers another heart attack

After panicking that she's suffering another heart attack, Mackenzie is relieved when the paramedics arrive and explain that her pains were brought on by anxiety.

The paramedics advise Mac to return to hospital, but she insists that she's fine and goes back to bed.

Later on, Xander and Mali decide to check in on their friend and are horrified to find Mac unresponsive.

2. Mac's life hangs in the balance

Levi is just saying his goodbyes to everyone at the hospital when a critically-ill Mac is wheeled in.

Horrified to see his patient in such a bad way, he lays the blame on Xander, and accuses the former paramedic of encouraging Mac to discharge herself.

With no time to lose, Mac is taken in for life-saving surgery, while her loved ones hope and pray she'll pull through.

3. Tane rejects Felicity – again

After an anxious wait, Mac's friends are relieved to hear the surgery has been a success.

Tane comforts an emotional Felicity and the estranged couple share a charged moment. But her hopes of a reconciliation are dashed when Tane admits that, although he still loves her, they can't be together.

Harper tries to press Tane about his feelings for his wife, but Tane is adamant their marriage is over.

4. Bree has a breakthrough

Bree is back in counselling as she tries to process her guilt over Jacob's death.

She's enlightened when her therapist suggests breaking free of her safe, controlled life – and enjoys her first foray into danger by taking a ride on the back of Remi's motorbike.

By the time Bree dismounts, she has decided what she wants to do next, and stuns Remi by asking if he'll join her volunteering for Doctors Without Borders.

5. Xander makes a difference

Mac's recent SCAD episode leaves Xander determined to help others in need.

He comes up with an idea of hosting a fundraiser at Salt to raise money for further research.

After recruiting Rose and Bree to help him brainstorm, Xander takes his proposal to Felicity, who gives him the go ahead. With that, the 'Salt by the Sea' concept is born.

6. Cash and Eden head off on holiday

Levi is being lauded as a local hero for saving Mac, and Eden can't stomach it.

After another run in with her brother, Eden asks Cash if they can get away for a few days.

Felicity gives him her blessing to go, and soon the couple are making their way to the bush for a weekend camping trip.

7. Cash opens up to Eden

Eden and Cash arrive at their destination, but it's clear she's not a fan of the great outdoors.

Cash takes a trip down memory lane as he reflects on the happy camping holidays he shared with his foster dad Gary.

Eden is moved by his story, but can she bear to spend another night in the wilderness?

8. Theo is back in the Bay

Justin's creative juices are in full flow as he helps Kirby pen the perfect song for his postponed wedding to Leah.

But as Theo returns from seeing his mum, the pair have to tell him they've been reworking the track he put his heart and soul into.

Theo makes out he's totally fine about it, but a chat with Remi later on suggests otherwise.

9. Remi sets Bree free

During their catch up, Remi tells Theo about Bree's desire for them to volunteer for Doctors Without Borders and admits he only thought it would be for two weeks, not a whole year.

Unable to make such a commitment, Remi lets Bree down gently, but insists she must follow her dreams.

Remi is sure they can make things work long-distance, but it's clear that Bree has reservations as she ponders which path to take.

10. The Surf Club is in crisis

Tensions are high at the Surf Club following the resignation of three committee members in quick succession.

Alf suspects it's because he went over the committee's head to reinstate John and Roo is able to confirm this is the case.

She also discovers that Simon Henderson has been dripping poison in their ears. Can Roo stop him before he does any further damage?

11. Theo worries about Leah

Justin and Kirby still feel dreadful about changing Theo's love song without permission.

But when Theo's temper gets the better of him, Justin realises he's struggling to deal with Leah's breakdown and the fact she's in a clinic so far away.

Following Alf's advice, Justin reassures Theo that his aunt is in the best place and will be better soon.

12. Cash and Eden call a truce

Back in the bush, Eden's had enough of camping and calls Remi to collect her. Hanging up the phone, she realises Cash has heard every word of her conversation and he's not happy.

The couple clash over their different interests, but Cash comes up with a suggestion – they stay one more night then book into a swanky hotel.

Eden's won over and leaves Remi a voicemail to say she's staying, unaware he's already on his way.

13. Remi is declared dead

Remi is speeding down the highway when he collides with an oncoming vehicle and is thrown into the air.

The driver of the other car, Wes, approaches Remi's lifeless body, and declares there's nothing they can do – he's dead.

With panic setting in, Wes destroys Remi's phone and orders his passenger, Mickey, to help him move Remi into their car.

14. Eden is kidnapped

As night falls at the campsite, Eden is making her way to the toilet when she comes across Mickey digging a makeshift grave for Remi.

Before Eden has chance to raise the alarm, Wes knocks her out and bundles her into the boot.

Next morning, an oblivious Cash wakes up to find his girlfriend is nowhere to be seen. Will he ever see Eden again?
