Home and Away's Kirby Aramoana to face new Lyrik tensions after band's reunion

Getting back together hasn't solved all their problems.

Home and Away's Kirby Aramoana will be forced to contend with even more tensions within her band Lyrik, after the band's recent reunion doesn't prove to be the end of their problems.

Last year, musician Kirby made the shock decision to quit Lyrik and launch a solo career, although more recent scenes have seen Kirby regret her choice.

After facing some issues getting out of her contract with solo manager Forrest Duke, Kirby and her bandmates eventually found a way to get around it, and a delighted Kirby was able to rejoin Lyrik.

However, in scenes that will air on Channel 5 in the UK next week, it soon becomes clear that the band still has issues to contend with.

Remi Carter is pleased when he returns home to the welcome news that Kirby's deal with Forrest is over. Lyrik is once again free to play their own songs following the end of Kirby's deal, and the band members rejoice at the news.

However, Remi soon starts to worry again when the band releases a new video and it doesn't receive much traction.

As the group is starting from scratch again in this new era, Remi points out that Kirby's inbox now contains a bunch of Forrest's industry contacts, who they could use for their own gain.

Kirby soon rejects the idea, not wanting to abuse her access to those contacts following the end of her contract.

With Remi eager to exploit Forrest's numerous connections, he calls a band vote against Kirby's wishes.

Remi is left brooding when his ideas aren't welcome, but will he come to respect Kirby's wishes or go behind her back?

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5, with repeat screenings at 6pm on 5STAR and first look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.
