Neighbours reveals Christmas Day danger for Holly Hoyland

More drama at the share house.

Neighbours has shared a first look at the show's Christmas Day episode, which sees Holly Hoyland face a dangerous moment while visiting the share house.

New teaser images hint that Holly's love triangle with Haz Devkar and Mackenzie Hargreaves could be about to turn nasty in dramatic scenes.

Viewers have recently seen Holly start dating Haz, which has proved difficult for Mackenzie as she has her own feelings for the café boss.

Spoiler pictures from the Christmas Day episode show another tense encounter between Holly and Haz when she pays a visit to his home.

Holly is also seen arguing with Mackenzie in the garden, shortly before falling into the pool. Fortunately, she's ultimately rescued by Haz in the follow-up episode on Boxing Day.

It's clearly a serious incident, as Holly's father Karl Kennedy is called to the scene to check her over in his role as local doctor.

A police officer also wants to speak to the 20-somethings after what happened.

Does Mackenzie's row with Holly play any role in the accident or is there another explanation for Holly's fall? All will be revealed when the episodes air at Christmas.

Neighbours' official synopsis for Christmas Day reads: "It's Christmas on Ramsay Street, but not all are in the mood for celebrating. Terese and Jane have a difficult decision to make. Mackenzie's emotions lead her to an impulsive decision."

Meanwhile, the Boxing Day synopsis teases: "A tragic accident leads to a shocking ultimatum. Susan uncovers a terrible secret that threatens to cause a rift in her family. Paul sets an impossible challenge."

Neighbours will be airing throughout the festive season on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US and Channel 10 and 10 Peach in Australia.

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach.
