Neighbours' Holly Hoyland and Karl Kennedy face big row over Haz Devkar

He does not approve of his daughter's relationship...

Holly Hoyland and Karl Kennedy will have a big row on Neighbours next week, with the pair clashing over Haz Devkar.

Holly and Haz took a break from their relationship in recent weeks, but got back together in yesterday’s (December 26) episode after she accidentally fell in the swimming pool.

Though they revisit their feelings, Holly is still nervous about Haz’s relationship with housemate Mackenzie Hargreaves, eventually ordering Haz to move out.

The complicated nature of the relationship has meant that Karl is yet to give his blessing, with this bone of contention opening proceedings in next Wednesday’s (January 3) episode.

Despite not wanting to give his approval, Karl does apologise to his daughter for the way he questioned Haz, but his mood later turns sour as he notices that Haz is still keeping some modelling photos of Mackenzie.

Haz explains that it’s simply a mistake, but Karl remains suspicious as to where his heart lies, warning his daughter that her feelings might not be reciprocated.

His word of warning doesn’t work, however, with Holly questioning her father’s motivations in a furious rant. Will the duo be able to repair their relationship, and is Haz still pining for Mackenzie?...

Whilst Haz is currently having some relationship trouble, he will soon be joined in Erinsborough by a family member, with sister Amira set to enter the neighbourhood next year as Maria Thattil joins for a guest stint.

“I couldn’t be more proud to join the beautiful Neighbours cast at a time when the show is evolving to tell even more Australian stories,” said the actor in a statement. “Imagining 10 year old me turning on the telly to see herself is pretty surreal.”

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach.
