Neighbours confirms full list of 12 returning characters for Flashback Week

 Welcome back.

Neighbours jumped ahead in time a few years when it made its grand return on Amazon's Freevee service back in September, and there's a lot we don't know about what happened in that time.

Next week's Flashback Week should fill in those blanks, and the full list of 12 returning characters has now been confirmed.

The dozen returnees are: Aaron Brennan, David Tanaka, Nicolette Stone, Chloe Brennan, Elly Conway, Bea Nilsson, Amy Greenwood, Yashvi Rebecchi, Mal Kennedy, Phil Martin, Callum Rebecchi and Imogen Willis.

“The new season began with some major shocks for the audience – but is everything as it seems?" executive producer Jason Herbison teased.

"Flashback Week will take us back in time and explore what really happened over the last two years. By the end of it, everything will be changed for the residents, with the ramifications lasting for months to come.”

We already knew that Aaron, David and Nicolette were returning, with Hannah Monson taking over the role of Nicolette. While the trio decided to stay on Ramsay Street by the end of the 2022 finale, they and baby Isla all left during the time jump for reasons yet to be fully revealed.

Nicolette was previously played by Charlotte Chimes.

Callum's return was also revealed last week, while it was known that Elly and Chloe – who reunited in the 2022 finale – were coming back at some point for a present-day stint, following flashbacks.

The return of Amy, played by Jacinta Stapleton, marks her first appearance since the time jump as well.

Amy was a regular character in 2022, and had an unresolved storyline in the finale – so the soap may address her Ramsay Street exit and the mystery donor during the flashback scenes.

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach.
