Hollyoaks star Suzanne Hall teases Suzanne Ashworth return
"Lots of twists and turns."
Hollyoaks star Suzanne Hall has teased her return as Suzanne Ashworth, after it was announced that she will be reprising her role on the soap after 12 years.
Viewers will first see Suzanne and her daughter Hannah next year, when they are set to turn up on the Osbornes' doorstep unannounced.
Ahead of her return, Hall has teased her character's "huge" story arc and shared her excitement at being reunited with Darren actor Ashley Taylor Dawson and Emma Rigby, who plays Hannah. "I'm super excited to be returning as Suzanne, and working with Ashley and Emma," she said.
"In true Hollyoaks style, there is so much happening, lots of twists and turns and as always a huge storyline to come."
Darren will surely be left in shock by the return of his ex wife and her mum – who he had an affair with. Suzanne subsequently gave birth to Darren's twins, Jack and Francine, before fleeing to Spain.
Earlier this week, Hall's on-screen daughter was photographed on the Hollyoaks set with former co-stars Kieron Richardson and Jamie Lomas to film some "exciting" scenes,
Hannah lived in the village between 2005 and 2010, where she faced a lot of challenges.
She was in a relationship with John Paul McQueen before he announced he was gay, survived a motorbike accident and suffered with an eating disorder – a storyline which saw the actress nominated for various awards.
Suzanne and Darren's twins round off the returning Ashworth family members, though the plot details are yet to be announced.
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
