Former Hollyoaks star Jemma Donovan shares pictures of loved-up holiday with Owen Warner

They flew to the Canary Islands.

Hollyoaks duo Jemma Donovan and Owen Warner have been enjoying the sun in Fuerteventura together.

Best recognised as their soap characters Rayne Royce and Romeo Nightingale, who were involved in in a coercive control storyline, Donovan (daughter of Jason) and Warner are seemingly in a good place romantically, having previously quashed rumours they'd split this summer.

The actress captioned a gallery of holiday snaps on Instagram yesterday (November 2): "Photos of me eating, the occasional selfie and Owen snorkelling in the pool".

Back in August, the TV couple made light of those split reports on social media, with former I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! campmate Warner telling the camera rather sarcastically: "I just want to address that me and Jemma have broken up..."

He went on to suggest that his co-star was not only "devastated" but "heartbroken", before cutting to Donovan physically sitting beside him with a huge frown across her face.

Warner claimed these claims were baseless, while his girlfriend said they're "better than ever".

Elsewhere, the Romeo actor recently got candid about his experiences with anxiety: "You'll have 100 positive comments and one negative comment will be the one that you're lying in bed thinking about that will go around in your head. You want to reply to [fans' comments] and show them that you appreciate them watching, but also, you then make yourself vulnerable to those negative comments, and it's whether you can put yourself in that position or not.

"Unfortunately, there's a lot of jealousy out there. There are a lot of people that want to niggle and put people down, and because of that it leads to people trying to impress each other, trying to get one up on each other, and people feeling like they can't show their most vulnerable self out there."

Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
