Home and Away's Xander and John anger Mackenzie in Salt drama

Home and Away's Xander Delaney and John Palmer are set to anger Mackenzie Booth in upcoming scenes, as they take advantage of her and the restaurant.

In scenes airing on Channel 5 next week, the team-building cocktail night for the Surf Club is due to take place at Mackenzie's restaurant, Salt.

John persuades the restaurant to offer some additional friendly competitions with prizes for the winners, but Mackenzie draws the line at using any of the top-shelf alcohol before John can suggest it.

The day after the event, John nurses a rough hangover, but Xander refuses to offer his sympathy and reminds John that he broke an expensive bottle of the restaurant's whisky.

John makes every excuse in the book to avoid telling Mackenzie, though it's not long before she notices that a bottle of whisky is missing.

Although Xander tries to do the right thing by making John confess, this also proves that he was letting patrons help themselves behind the bar.

With Mackenzie's trust in Xander now broken, she decides that she will have to postpone her trip.

John does end up paying for the whisky in full, but will this be enough to change Mackenzie's mind?

Elsewhere in Summer Bay, Roo Stewart is set to leave Marilyn Chambers devastated as their feud storyline kicks off amid Roo's recovery from the explosion.
