Home and Away's Tane and Felicity consider moving away from Summer Bay
Are the couple set to start a new life in New Zealand?
Home and Away's Tane Parata and Felicity Newman could be set to make a huge decision, as the couple consider a big move away from Summer Bay.
In scenes that will air on Channel 5 in the UK next week, Tane returns from his trip to visit family in New Zealand, and he soon mentions to wife Felicity that he's really noticed how quickly his baby cousins are growing up.
This motivates Tane to sit Felicity down for a serious conversation about their future – but all Felicity sees is red flags. She knows that she doesn't want to have kids and she doesn't want this conversation.
Telling Tane that she's needed at work, Felicity heads out and ends up crashing Eden Fowler and Remi Carter's writing retreat.
When Felicity admits that she only came along because she wanted to hide from her husband and their conversation about having children, Remi calls the whole trip off. He decides that it's time for all of them to stop running and face reality.
After she returns, it isn't long before Felicity runs straight into Tane, who has been searching for her. Tane finally gets the chance to explain that the big talk he wanted to have with her wasn't about having a baby at all – it was about the idea of moving to New Zealand.
Tane is soon pitching his idea for a move to Felicity. He has found a great plot of land that they could buy and has the whole thing all lined up – the land is available now, it's within their price range and it's the perfect location.
Felicity takes the night to contemplate the idea and she soon decides that it has been Tane's connection to place that has changed her own definition of where home is.
Home for her now is wherever Tane is – and if that's New Zealand, then she can see herself living there with him.
After everything that the couple have been through recently, are they set to make a huge decision to move their lives abroad?
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
