Home and Away's Marilyn resorts to threatening Roo as their feud escalates

The former friends clash over Roo's care plan.

Home and Away's Marilyn Chambers is forced to take drastic action in scenes airing in the UK next week, as she threatens her friend Roo Stewart in their ongoing feud.

The long-time friends have been at loggerheads since Roo returned home from hospital, where she was treated for severe injuries after being caught in an explosion caused by shady company Stunning Organics.

After Roo made it clear that she blames Marilyn for the blast disaster and suggested that their friendship is now over, Marilyn decides in next week's UK-pace scenes that the time has come for her to move out of Roo and Alf Stewart's home.

However, when Leah Patterson brings Roo home from a trip out, Marilyn is back at the house waiting for them, unable to resist keeping an eye on her old friend's health.

Roo pleads with Marilyn to leave her alone, but Marilyn won't budge - she told Alf before he left to visit his wife Martha in Merimbula that she would take care of Roo, and she fully intends to keep her promise.

Marilyn then goes further, warning Roo that if she doesn't let Marilyn stay, she will call Alf and reveal to him what's going on.

Roo is furious at Marilyn's ultimatum, declaring that Alf deserves to have a break and it wouldn't be fair of Marilyn to disturb him.

Marilyn is forced to find a compromise, and she leaves a reluctant Theo Poulos to look after Roo while she searches for a suitable alternative.

Unfortunately, Theo struggles with Roo's care and, under the guise of fetching her some water, he sneaks away to call Marilyn, telling her that Roo seems to be getting worse.

Marilyn soon calls in doctor Bree Cameron to get her expert opinion, and Bree quickly points out that Roo's care plan includes having someone with her at all times - and that person is presumably Marilyn.

Bree explains that if this situation can't continue, then Roo will need to return to hospital. Dreading being back in hospital, Roo reluctantly agrees that Marilyn can stay - for now.

Can Marilyn and Roo put their differences aside for the sake of Roo's health?

Home and Away currently airs weekdays at 1pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
