Home and Away's Kirby Aramoana suffers setback with solo plans

Kirby's attempt to take more control over her career fails.

Home and Away's Kirby Aramoana is set to suffer a big setback with her solo career plans.

Kirby decided to depart the band Lyrik recently in order to pursue a solo music career, though her manager Forrest Duke meddled with the group behind her back by pushing a copyright rule that forbade them from playing songs she wrote.

This put more strain on her relationship with Remi and Eden, and when Kirby eventually found out what had been going on, she angrily confronted Forrest, leaving her torn between her aspirations and her relationship with her former bandmates.

In new scenes set to air for UK viewers next week, Kirby's plans to launch her solo career are tarnished by tensions with Remi and Eden, leaving her more determined to make everything run perfectly.

Forrest makes plans for an album photoshoot, and Kirby convinces her manager to let her share her music ideas with the record label.

However, she faces a big setback when the label rejects her suggestions, and she learns that the machine she has entered will continue without her input.

Forrest tells her that she needs to trust him, though Kirby doesn't find it so simple.

She speaks to her former manager Justin, admitting that the label has a different vision for her career than she has. Kirby will have to shift her mindset to make the arrangement work.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
