Home and Away villain DS Madden plots a murder in sinister scenes

The police corruption storyline comes to a head.

Home and Away's newest villain DS Madden orders the murder of Dana Matheson in shocking scenes on UK screens next week.

The corrupt police detective plots to get rid of Dana after helping to frame her for drugs charges.

Upcoming scenes on Channel 5 see Dana finally hand herself into the police after Madden threatens to arrest her sister Harper for assisting an offender.

Everyone expects Madden to bring Dana to the local police station for an official interview, but Harper, Irene Roberts and Cash Newman are all left baffled when the pair are nowhere to be seen.

Madden and his corrupt colleague Fletcher bring Dana to an abandoned shack, where they tie her up and hold her captive.

Madden orders Fletcher to keep a close eye on Dana while he establishes his alibi back at the police station. He adds that he'll send word to Fletcher once the time comes to kill Dana.

Later, Madden arrives back at work and lies that Dana escaped from police custody. He then sends Fletcher a text: "Do it now."

Back at the shack, Dana is terrified as Fletcher produces a syringe. It dawns on her that Fletcher intends to murder her and make her death look like an overdose.

Dana fights for her life by overpowering Fletcher and knocking him out cold. This buys her some time, but she can't make her escape as the shack is still locked.

Thinking quickly, Dana uses Fletcher's phone to call Harper. Just as she gets through, Fletcher grabs her from behind and cuts the connection.
