Hollyoaks confirms new health scare for Yazz Cunningham

 Yazz is rushed to hospital again.

Hollyoaks has confirmed that Yazz Cunningham will face another health scare next week.

After Yazz experienced an ectopic pregnancy earlier this year, she later discovered that she is going through an early menopause, and the soap has confirmed that she has further health stresses to come.

In scenes airing next week, over at the Maalik house, Yazz continues to suffer from her menopause symptoms and ends up lashing out at husband Tom Cunningham..

Tom later opens up to Zain about the difficulties in his and Yazz's marriage, and Misbah vows to get to the bottom of their relationship problems.

But when Yazz's health suddenly deteriorates, Misbah rushes her to A&E to try to get some answers for her recent out-of-character behaviour.

While Peri Lomax is examining her, Yazz starts to harass her for updates about Rayne Royce's murder case, causing stressed Peri to explode. Later, Sharon Bailey takes over Yazz's case instead.

 

Later on, Yazz prepares to get her hospital results but the wait gets too much for Misbah, who ends up checking the results herself.

What will Yazz say when she realises what her mum has done?

Earlier this year, actress Haiesha Mistry, who plays Yazz, spoke about the difficulties that her character is experiencing in her marriage, saying that she is hoping that Yazz and Tom can stick together.

"I would be sad if they split up, and so would everyone else!" she said. "The audience are extremely invested in them as a couple. It's not looking good, though…"
