Home and Away's Theo Poulos accused of betraying Lyrik in new scenes
Theo faces a backlash when he tries to book a new gig.
Home and Away's Theo Poulos will face a shock accusation next week, when he is suspected of betraying his band, Lyrik.
UK viewers have seen Lyrik thrown into turmoil over recent weeks, with member Kirby Aramoana deciding to sign a solo music deal with new manager Forrest Duke.
Things only get worse for Lyrik and their manager, Justin Morgan, when Forrest warns them that Kirby's new representatives are withholding copyright permissions, meaning that Lyrik will no longer be able to perform any of their songs that Kirby worked on composing.
In new scenes that will air in the UK next week, Lyrik's planned gig at Salt has a big question mark over it following the news about the copyright permissions on Kirby's songs. Remi Carter is the one to break the bad news to Eden Fowler that Kirby won't be the only thing missing when the band play that night.
Justin goes to grovel to a less-than-understanding Mackenzie Booth. When he suggests that the band will just play covers that night, annoyed Mac cancels the gig and accuses Justin of being unprofessional.
When Justin refers Mac's complaint to Forrest, Mac decides to pursue it, and she gloats to Justin the next day that Forrest not only bought her out for the loss of income, but also gave her exclusive access to Kirby's solo music when the time comes.
Already reeling from this bad news, Eden is thrown when she finds out that Kirby and Bree Cameron have made a house-swap arrangement.
When Remi suggests that this might make things easier as Justin has blocked them from speaking to Kirby, Eden goes on the warpath, announcing that Justin will not be dictating who she can speak to.
Eden protests that Kirby is her friend and that hasn't changed, no matter what the band has been through. But Justin counters that Eden's attitude hasn't helped the situation, and that he's just trying to do what's best for the band.

Remi later offers a solution, suggesting that his parents could put them in touch with an entertainment lawyer.
Theo, meanwhile, is depressed following the sad breakdown of Lyrik. His aunt, Leah Patterson-Baker, is concerned that Theo is wasting his days in bed, and she encourages him to get out again, arguing that he's young and talented and has the world at his feet.
Feeling buoyed by his chat with Leah, Theo tries his luck with Mackenzie and asks her to book him for a solo gig at Salt.
In a double whammy of bad news for Theo, not only does Mac turn him down, but Eden also overhears their conversation. Hurt, she accuses Theo of abandoning Lyrik just like Kirby did.
Later on, Eden is forced to order water over beer as her loss of earnings as a result of Lyrik being stalled catches up with her. Mac offers her some shifts at Salt if she's in need, but Eden maintains that she isn't a charity.
She adds that she isn't interested in finding another job right now, because she still hasn't given up on Lyrik. But will Eden's faith in the band pay off, or are they over for good?
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
