Home and Away's Tane Parata faces sad struggle in Felicity Newman storyline

Home and Away's Tane Parata will face an emotional battle in new scenes, as Felicity Newman's devastating storyline continues.

Newly married couple Tane and Felicity have been struggling in recent weeks, following Felicity's horrifying sexual assault at the Battle of the Bands contest.

While the police continue to look into the crime, Felicity has been seeking help after she initially tried to keep her loved ones at arm's length following the attack. But she and Tane have still clashed as Felicity tries to process what she has been through.

In scenes airing on Channel 5 in the UK next week, Felicity returns from her second counselling session and things appear to be a little better with her.

Felicity finds that she is once again able to have a laugh with her brother Cash, who is enjoying some time off.

However, Tane is not joining in with the pair's laughter and appears to be distracted. Felicity admits to Cash that she and Tane haven't been talking much lately.

Later on, Felicity reaches out to her husband, having noticed that he hasn't been himself lately. But Tane still can't bring himself to open up to her about his feelings.

When Tane wakes in the middle of the night, he decides to get up and head for the boxing ring, where he can unleash his fury on the punching bag.

Tane's night-time disappearance leaves Felicity and Cash concerned as he fails to return home. When Cash tracks him down at the gym, he steadies the punching bag, allowing Tane to finally relinquish some of his anger.

Felicity and Tane later take a beach walk together, where Tane finally feels able to open up to his wife about his feelings. He tells Felicity that seeing her in such pain has been impossibly hard to bear for him.

Will Tane be able to turn a corner after opening up, or will he continue to bottle up his feelings?
