Home and Away's Remi Carter caught out over Mercedes Da Silva secret

 Bree is not happy.

Home and Away's Remi Carter fights for his future with Bree Cameron on UK screens next week.

Remi is left with some explaining to do when Bree finds out that Mercedes Da Silva tried to kiss him – something he'd failed to tell her about.

In next week's episodes on Channel 5, Remi fears the consequences for Lyrik after he rejected Mercedes' advances.

Remi worries that Mercedes won't turn up for the rest of her booked recording sessions with Lyrik, despite previously agreeing to be part of their first album.

When Remi's best friend and bandmate Eden Fowler orders him to sort this situation out, he reluctantly heads to Mercedes' hotel room for a showdown.

Remi tells Mercedes that he's in love with Bree and isn't interested in a future with anybody else.

He adds that, if Mercedes comes back to record with Lyrik, it has to be for the band rather than for him.

Later, Mercedes pleasantly surprises Remi by sticking to the agreement and turning up to play with Lyrik.

The pair don't realise that Bree has also decided to come along to the recording studio and she overhears them talking about what happened between them.

The next morning, Bree gives Remi an opportunity to confess all and is disappointed when he doesn't take it.

Bree confronts Remi for keeping secrets, and even though he explains that nothing happened, she questions why he wasn't upfront if he had nothing to hide.

Remi feels guilty when Bree reminds him of how she was treated in her abusive marriage to Jacob and how she won't accept being lied to.

The guitarist is relieved when Bree forgives him, on the condition that he doesn't try to deceive her again. However, when Bree secretly uses Remi's phone to get hold of Mercedes' number, it seems that the repercussions aren't over yet.
