Home and Away's Marilyn Chambers is offered a bribe in explosion aftermath
She refuses to be pressured.
Home and Away's Marilyn Chambers is left furious on UK screens next week as Stunning Organics makes a sneaky attempt to bribe her.
Marilyn is stunned when she's offered $25,000 in return for joining the corrupt cosmetics company at an emergency press conference.
Stunning Organics has had its reputation destroyed thanks to Marilyn using the press to expose its dodgy activities.
This culminated in the brand's former CEO sending a bomb to Marilyn, which threatened the lives of Roo Stewart, John Palmer and Mali Hudson.
In next week's episodes, the new CEO arranges a press conference and invites Marilyn to attend as a special guest.
Stunning Organics wants to promote how it has supposedly improved in recent weeks, but Marilyn refuses to be exploited in a PR ploy.
When Stunning Organics then offers $25,000 for Marilyn to attend, Roo's father Alf steps in with a cunning idea.
After listening to Alf's suggestion, Marilyn agrees to take part in the Stunning Organics press conference after all.
This makes Marilyn perfectly placed to put a plan into action, inviting Alf to take centre stage during the event.
Alf publicly exposes pictures of Roo in her coma and explains that Stunning Organics were to blame.
Marilyn them chimes in by revealing that Stunning Organics offered her a bribe to be at the conference, which proves that the company hasn't changed.
The CEO ends up crumbling under the pressure and storming off, but Alf follows her.
Kirby Aramoana records the CEO admitting that she doesn't care about Roo or her medical situation, which adds further fuel to the fire.
Later in the week, the dramatic press conference hits the headlines and one article paints Marilyn and Alf as local heroes.
Marilyn vows to look to the future afterwards, hoping that such a tough chapter in her life is finally over.
