Home and Away's Felicity Newman to be blackmailed in dark storyline
She receives a demand for $1,000.
Home and Away airs another emotional set of episodes for Felicity Newman on UK screens next week, as the man who sexually assaulted her starts making threats.
Felicity is horrified when the dangerous individual sends her sickening text messages, threatening to release a video of her assault unless she pays him $1,000.
In next week's episodes on Channel 5, Felicity hopes to move on after her ordeal and urges her husband Tane to stop being so "clingy" around her.
Tane is devoted to supporting Felicity and cancels his fitness bootcamp to spend time with her. He tells Felicity that he's nervous to leave her alone, but she insists that they must get back to their normal lives.
Later, Felicity is shocked by another traumatic development. The unknown man who attacked her sends a text, threatening to release a video of the assault unless she pays him.
Felicity shows the message to Tane, who suggests that they should seek support from the police via her brother Cash. Much to Tane's dismay, Felicity is adamant that Cash can't know about this.
Felicity speculates that the text message might be a scam and that no such video exists, but Tane is sceptical over this theory, pointing out that so few people know about her assault.
Meanwhile, Xander Delaney informs Cash that he saw Felicity rush out of Salt after she received an upsetting text.
Cash seeks out Felicity to check that she's okay, but she avoids telling him what's happening.
Later, Felicity receives a follow-up text containing a clip from the video, along with another warning and details of where to send the $1,000.
Felicity feels defeated and decides to pay the blackmailer. Although Tane doesn't agree with this decision, he vows to keep supporting her.
