Home and Away's Andrew Lawrence faces disturbing punishments in cult storyline
Newcomer Margot shows what she's capable of.
Home and Away's Andrew Lawrence is cruelly tormented by cult leader Margot Dafoe on UK screens next week.
Andrew faces a tough time after being lured back to the compound used by Vita Nova, the doomsday prepper group that his late father was a member of.
In upcoming scenes on Channel 5, a mysterious woman arrives in Summer Bay and introduces herself as Andrew's mother Esther. She convinces Andrew to come and live with her.
Justin Morgan and Leah Patterson say an emotional farewell to Andrew, but policeman Cash Newman soon discovers that the lady in question was an impostor.
Next week, Cash receives a reprimand at work for failing to properly verify the woman's story before letting Andrew go.
Cash then updates Justin by revealing that 'Esther' was really Margot, the ruthless leader of Vita Nova.
Justin is furious with Cash for making such a big mistake. However, both men soon realise that they'll need to keep working together to have the best chance of getting Andrew back.
Meanwhile, at the Vita Nova compound, Andrew faces some harsh "punishments" for turning away from the group.
Margot believes that Andrew was too easily swayed by the outside world, so she forces him to carry out some gruelling exercises.
Andrew is tormented further when Margot locks him in a cell and plays heavy metal music at high volume.
Cash gets his hands on the address for the cult compound, so he joins forces with Justin to pay an off-the-books visit.
When Cash and Justin demand to see Andrew, scheming Margot happily obliges.
Justin breaks the news that they've found Andrew's sister and there's still hope for him on the outside world.
However, a brainwashed Andrew leaves Cash and Justin horrified by announcing that he's happy where he is and refuses to leave.
