Home and Away's Tane Parata left shocked by Felicity Newman's proposal
Are they finally heading down the aisle?
Home and Away's Tane Parata makes a big decision on UK screens next week as Felicity Newman pushes to have their wedding rescheduled.
Tane is reluctant after Felicity's previous doubts over getting married, but he's urged to trust her when she insists that things are different this time.
Upcoming episodes see the couple save their relationship when Tane joins Felicity for an emotional heart-to-heart in her childhood hometown.
Tane and Felicity later return to Summer Bay all loved-up again. Grateful that things can get back to normal, Tane chooses not to mention the wedding as he fears that it'll send Felicity into another spiral.
Felicity clearly has other ideas as she surprises Tane on the beach by spontaneously proposing.
Although Felicity expects Tane to be delighted, she's in for a shock as he hesitates over giving her an answer. This leaves Felicity worried that she may have rushed things.
Tane explains his reaction by pointing out how Felicity repeatedly had doubts last time they were engaged. He doesn't see why things would be any different second time around.
When Felicity promises there'll be no repeat of their past dramas, Tane finally relents and agrees to get engaged again.
Later, Felicity happily shares her big news with her brother Cash Newman and best friend Eden Fowler.
Felicity asks Cash and Eden to get involved with the wedding planning again, which means the "bride tribe" will be re-assembling.
Felicity and Tane immediately rule out booking the same venue as last time, wanting to avoid any traumatic memories from the car crash disaster.
The pair also ask Cash and Eden how quickly they can get things sorted, hinting that the ceremony needs to take place sooner rather than later.
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
