Home and Away's Roo Stewart rushed to hospital in Marilyn storyline
Marilyn's Stunning Organics venture takes a dangerous turn.
Home and Away's Roo Stewart will face a frightening health scare in upcoming scenes, as her efforts to help Marilyn Chambers result in her being rushed to hospital.
Marilyn has recently become determined to make some quick money in order to pay for half of former foster son Jett's wedding, despite John Palmer's offer to cover all of the costs for their shared foster son.
After joining shady skincare company Stunning Organics as a sales rep, Marilyn has already experienced issues with her new role, having struggled with her limited social marketing skills before being sent too much product to sell by the company.
Having grown desperate to make sales, Marilyn has been offering a free cup of coffee at the diner for every skincare product sold, and she has also been delighted by Kirby Aramoana's successful social media push for Stunning Organics.
However, in scenes airing next week on Channel 5, Marilyn and Kirby will have some explaining to do when Irene Roberts finds out about their free coffee offer. While the pair apologise, Marilyn remains distracted by her burgeoning sales career.
She's surprised when a large order of Stunning Organics sunscreen arrives at the surf club and is convinced that John must be behind it.
Marilyn confronts John over his "pity order", but he denies all knowledge of the sunscreen order.
Later on, Roo and Irene indulge Marilyn by agreeing to hear more about Stunning Organics. Marilyn is then surprised to learn that it was actually Alf Stewart, and not John, who placed the large sunscreen order.
Sheepish Marilyn apologises to John for her accusations, and the pair find common ground in their desire to give Jett the very best for his wedding.
Later on, Roo resists Marilyn's attempts to rope her into being involved in Stunning Organics, offering to buy some products from her but drawing the line at becoming a brand ambassador herself.
But things take a worrying turn when Marilyn tries out a new face mask on Roo and Roo starts to complain of a burning sensation.
Doctor Bree Cameron is forced to intervene and Roo ends up being rushed to hospital following her nasty reaction. Will Roo be okay?
It has already been confirmed that Marilyn's relationship with Stunning Organics is set to turn even more sinister in future scenes.
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
