Home and Away's Eden Fowler storms off in new Lyrik row
Eden clashes with her bandmates over her personal song.
Home and Away's Eden Fowler will clash with her Lyrik bandmates in new UK scenes, as she feels pressured to release a song that's very personal to her.
The band has faced a number of setbacks over the past few months, after Eden was left in a coma following her involvement in a major car crash and Remi Carter was put out of guitar-playing action by villain Jacob Cameron's violent outburst.
In scenes airing in the UK next week, the members of Lyrik are excited to be reviving the band and are keen to book as many gigs as possible, as well as get to work on releasing new material.
Eden's bandmates Remi, Kirby Aramoana and Theo Poulos announce that they'd love to release her new song, which she wrote about boyfriend Cash Newman before their recent reunion.
However, they're left shocked when Eden refuses to consider releasing the song and storms out of the meeting.
She later confides in Cash that she isn't willing to share their love song with Lyrik because it feels too personal to them, but Cash points out that she has already performed the song in public and so he doesn't understand why it's such a big deal for her.
Eden later seeks advice from Kirby about the situation and Kirby tells her that the audience will always take their own meaning from a song, so she shouldn't be so worried about what it means to her personally.
But this is no comfort to Eden – what if she doesn't want the meaning to change?
Will Eden and her bandmates be able to reach a solution that works for them all?
There will be more trouble coming up for the members of Lyrik when troublesome newcomer Mercedes arrives in town, and it soon becomes clear that she has a history with Remi.
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
