Home and Away star Ada Nicodemou reveals cameo for real-life family members

The star's family "made the cut".

Home and Away star Ada Nicodemou's real-life family members managed to make a cameo in one of her scenes.

Ada, who plays Leah Patterson, took to Instagram on Thursday (May 11) and revealed that her mum and aunt paid a visit to the Home and Away set — though they ended up doing a little bit more than just saying hello.

The actress posted a video of herself filming a scene alongside her co-star Emily Symons (who plays Marilyn Chambers). In the background, Ada's mum and aunt can be seen enjoying a coffee.

"Had some special visitors on set this morning at #palmbeach and they made the cut. Mum and my aunt are now famous," she captioned the post.

Ada also posted some sweet snaps of her family members posing with her co-stars Lynne McGranger (Irene Roberts) and James Stewart (Justin Morgan).

Now, viewers just need to keep an eye out to see if they can spot Ada's mum and aunt in future episodes...

Last year, Ada revealed she has no plans to leave Summer Bay in the near future.

"I am really happy here; I enjoy it. I have great friends — why would I leave such a great job?" she said. "I have been doing it for so long that it's part of my life now. I manage to still be mum, and a partner, and to work. It's a great lifestyle."

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.

In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 and streams on 7plus.
