Home and Away revisits Tex Wheeler story as Rose Delaney struggles

Rose and Mali hit another obstacle.

Home and Away's Rose Delaney is confronted by her past next week, as she realises how much she has been affected by Tex Wheeler's manipulation.

Rose is currently in the early stages of a romance with Summer Bay newcomer Mali Hudson – her first relationship since her short-lived fling with Tex.

Last year, Rose became entangled with Tex shortly after he arrived in the Bay.

Rose was left heartbroken when she later discovered that Tex was a lead figure in a dangerous biker gang, who was only pursuing her to reduce his chances of getting in trouble with the police.

In next week's episodes on Channel 5, Rose continues growing closer to Mali as they have another date.

Rose dresses to impress and tries her best to seem confident, which pays off as Mali is smitten.

The pair return to Mali's caravan, where things start to heat up between them.

Suddenly, Rose is hit by a wave of panic and realises that she isn't ready for this. Rose rushes off, leaving Mali confused and fearing it's the end for them.

Rose soon realises that her panic was a result of being deceived by Tex. She now fears intimacy with another man, worried that history could repeat itself.

Rose approaches Mali and tries to explain, but he cuts her off and insists that it's all good. His blasé reaction leaves Rose feeling worse.

It's only when Mali speaks to Rose's brother Xander that his true feelings come to light. He admits that he was upset by Rose's rejection and fears that she has dumped him.

When Rose clarifies that this isn't the case, she and Mali agree to give their relationship another try. Can they find a way to move forward together?

Home and Away airs these scenes on Thursday, April 13 and Friday, April 14 at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
