Hollyoaks sets up possible exit for Imran Maalik

Hollyoaks has set up a possible exit for Imran Maalik from the village.
Viewers have seen that Imran wants to move to London and live with his brother Sami but he recently overheard his mum Misbah say she didn't think he was strong enough to live on his own.
Imran, who has struggled with an eating disorder, was understandably hurt by what he overheard and in tonight's E4 first-look episode (Tuesday, April 25) tensions were running high between mother and son.
While Misbah was looking at an old cup, Imran snapped: "Why don't you just get rid of it like you want to get rid of my dreams?"
Misbah then tried to explain herself, telling Imran he wasn't meant to hear what she said. She went on to say that she doesn't think her son is weak but "medically speaking" she thought there may be some challenges.
However, before Misbah could finish her sentence, Imran butted in to tell her she wasn't even a doctor anymore and instead accused her of being afraid she'd be left with no one if he moved.
Misbah then admitted she didn't think her son was ready to stand on his own two feet. After she left, Dillon told Imran he should go after her to sort things out but he decided against it.
Later Imran went to the market expecting to see Dillon but was instead met by his mum. Before the two could argue again, Dillon appeared, saying he was going to do a backflip. But Misbah and Imran soon heard Dillon scream and found him on the ground having apparently injured his arm.
The pair took Dillon to the hospital where it became clear that Dillon had faked his injury. Dillon then admitted he had staged the whole thing to, not only bring mother and son together, but to prove to them both how capable they really are.
While alone, they both admitted Dillon was right, with Misbah saying Imran was a "very capable young man".
Back at home the pair had a heart to heart with Misbah admitting she's been struggling with the idea of her last child who lives at home leaving. However, Imran reassured his mum, telling her that today proved she needed to get her job as a doctor back and that he would still need her help even if he moved away.
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
