Hollyoaks reveals full details of special Peri and Juliet episode
The couple make a special trip with a Drag Race UK star.
Hollyoaks has revealed full details of a special episode based around Peri and Juliet.
On-location filming recently showed that the couple would take centre stage in an upcoming episode set in Brighton, where the girls would meet Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard.
Peri and Juliet have recently got back together after Peri vowed to stand by her long-time love's side as she continues cancer treatments.
In upcoming scenes, Peri distracts herself from Juliet's looming PET Scan with wedding planning for James and Ste. Peri also opens up about her sad childhood and how she'd always wanted to visit the seaside.
Peri comes up with an idea to visit Brighton with Juliet while they're awaiting the results of her scan. She turns to James to ask for help paying for the trip, and while he's reluctant at first due to the health risks for his sister, he eventually agrees to foot the bill.
Juliet is amazed when the pair arrive in Brighton to find Peri has booked them in a fancy hotel with a gorgeous seaside view. The girls have a wonderful day together, winning prizes as the arcade and having a romantic moment on the beach.
However, trouble is afoot as they party that night and Peri discovers her belongings have been stolen. This means the girls have no way to get back to Chester.
That's when Drag Race UK star Danny Beard intervenes to help the girls in their moment of need. The following morning, all three are battling hangovers as they bundle into Danny's drag wagon and race back to Chester.
Peri and Danny make a pledge for the trip back to be as eventful as possible, in order to keep Juliet's mind off her scan results coming in.
The trip comes to a disappointing end during Danny's live stream when an insensitive comment really hurts Juliet. Once the girls are back in Chester, Peri tearfully breaks down as she confides her fears in one-time love rival Nadira.
Will this fairytale holiday have a happy ending?
Hollyoaks streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
