Former Home and Away star Sam Frost shares new photos of her baby son

 The actress welcomed her baby earlier this month.

Former Home and Away star Sam Frost has shared a series of adorable photos of her newborn baby son Ted.

The actress welcomed the baby with fiancé Jordie Hansen earlier this month, saying at the time that there were "no words to describe how much we love you".

Taking to her Instagram account, Sam posted a reel of new pictures for her followers, including a few snaps of the baby.

"Little bit of dis dats from this weekend," she captioned the post.

Sam originally confirmed that she was expecting a baby last September, joking at the time that everyone should act "surprised when he inevitably inherits his parents odd sense of humour".

The star added: "We don’t take ourselves or life too seriously, and we’re hoping to teach our tiny one the same values we share… the importance of being unapologetically yourself, always finding the fun and humour in all the small things, and that being kind, loving and empathetic is a superpower."

Sam also spoke about facing challenges during the pregnancy's first trimester, admitting it was "incredibly difficult for [her], mentally & physically".

The actress's last scenes on Home and Away as Jasmine Delaney aired last year, the star explaining that she left the show to look after her health and spend more time with her loved ones.

"I quit my dream job at Home and Away to look after my mental health. I needed to take a step back, go home and be with my family. And most importantly take good care of my health and well-being," Sam said last year.
