Home and Away's Tane Parata risks his life to save Felicity Newman in wedding storyline

Disaster strikes on the big day.

Home and Away's Tane Parata rushes to save his fiancée Felicity Newman on their wedding day on UK screens next week.

Disaster strikes on the happy couple's big day, as Tex Wheeler's dangerous biker gang return to take revenge against Felicity's brother Cash.

Cash killed gang leader Marty in self-defence while on police duty last year. This led to the group of criminals putting a hit out against him.

On the eve of the ceremony, a man working for the gang sabotages Felicity's wedding car after learning that Cash will be driving. However, a last-minute change of plan on the day sees Felicity's maid of honour Eden Fowler on driving duties instead.

When Eden and Felicity head off together, they're unaware that brake fluid is leaking from the vehicle after the bikies' sabotage.

Eden finds herself zooming towards a van and unable to brake. To avoid ramming the vehicle, Eden swerves into oncoming traffic but collides into Justin Morgan and Leah Patterson's car.

Justin and Leah's car flies into the air, rolling before crashing into a fence.

Eden and Felicity are also sent flying and they crash into a petrol station.

At the ceremony, Tane fears that Felicity has left him standing at the altar because she was nervous about the big day.

Just as Tane announces that the wedding is off, Felicity's foster father Gary Morrow reveals that he's had a call about a worrying accident.

At the crash scene, Eden is slumped unconscious against the steering wheel.

Felicity is still conscious but is unable to move as her legs are trapped in the car wreckage.

Tane wastes no time before rushing to the crash site, where the emergency services manage to free Eden from the vehicle.

Rescuing Felicity proves to be trickier, but when a petrol leak causes the car to burst into flames, Tane realises that time is running out.

Tane manages to free his trapped fiancée using only his bare hands, before carrying her to safety through smoke and flames.

Everyone may now be free, but will they all survive?

Home and Away airs these scenes on Monday, March 6 and Tuesday, March 7 at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
