Home and Away's Justin Morgan faces backlash over sabotage plan
Golf rivalry gets out of hand.
Home and Away's Justin Morgan must face the consequences of cheating in the Summer Bay golf tournament on UK screens next week.
Justin has decided to put a team together for the upcoming charity event – keen to outmatch his rival John Palmer.
In upcoming scenes on Channel 5, Justin bands together with Theo Poulos and Dean Thompson and hopes they'll be good enough to crush John's team.
Although Dean is a total novice at golf, he's eager to take part after hearing that the first prize for the winning team is a brand new car. Dean's partner Ziggy Astoni has told him that they'll need a new car once their baby is born, so the timing couldn't be better.
John, meanwhile, recruits Kirby Aramoana and Rose Delaney for his team. He's also feeling confident, as Rose is a two-time golf tournament champion.
On the eve of the tournament, both teams take a tour of the golf course to see what they'll be up against.
Justin feels insecure when he sees Rose in action, as it becomes clear that she'll be tough to beat.
When Justin sneaks out of the house later, it's clear that he has a cunning plan in mind to tip the scales in his favour.
The following day, the tournament begins and Justin has plenty of reason to celebrate.
Dean proves to be a total natural at golf, enjoying beginner's luck. Justin and his players also witness a setback for the Palmer's Putters team, as John's golf buggy isn't working and they all have to make their way around the course on foot.
Theo rightly suspects that Justin sabotaged the buggy and he feels ashamed to be part of a cheating team.
Theo threatens to throw the game unless Justin comes clean. Justin refuses, claiming that they can't stand in the way of Dean winning the car.
Matters are taken out of Justin's hands when event organiser Roo Stewart watches CCTV evidence of him tampering with the golf buggy.
Justin's team wins the tournament, but their celebrations are short-lived when they're disqualified for cheating.
Dean is livid to have his new car taken away, so he makes it clear to Justin that he expects repayment for the setback.
Meanwhile, Justin's partner Leah Patterson is also embarrassed by his childish antics and she tells him to sleep on the couch.
Can Justin find a way to make amends with everyone?
Home and Away airs these scenes on Thursday, February 16 at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
