Home and Away spoilers: Juliet Godwin reveals major ‘danger ahead’ for Bree Cameron and Remi Carter in dark kidnap horror
Bree Cameron (Juliet Godwin) and Remi Carter’s (Adam Rowland) lives are put in serious danger in Home and Away next week when vile abuser Jacob (Alex Williams) stages his comeback.
Jacob, as viewers know, vanished from the face of the earth earlier this week, having emptied out his and Bree’s bank accounts.
His vanishing act left Bree incredibly concerned, and Remi refused to leave her along during such a difficult time, and thus he resolved to stay with her in her motel room.
There was tension aplenty, with the pair often getting on each other’s nerves, but a surf proves to be exactly what Bree needs as she returns to the motel room with a new lease on life, determined to make a go of things with Remi.
Jacob, however, makes a return at the end of this week, with next week proving to be something of a dramatic peak for the story in question, as he forces his way into Bree’s motel room while she’s alone.
‘Bree is in serious danger and not only her now but also Remi,’ actress Juliet Godwin told of the scenes to come.
‘So, she’s naturally got to try her hardest to placate Jacob because there’s a danger facing not only her but also someone she cares deeply for.
It’s a very scary moment.’
Remi, meanwhile, gets wind of Jacob’s return and races to rescue Bree, but upon arriving at the motel room he finds his lover being held in captivity, and is left with little choice but to comply with violent Jacob’s demands.
Subsequent scenes see Remi strapped to a chair, with Jacob becoming increasingly violent towards him, as Bree claims she doesn’t have feelings for him.
In a bid to save Remi, the doctor agrees to leave with Jacob, much to Remi’s horror. ‘Sadly, often victims see everything as being their fault,’ said Juliet of the development. ‘Bree sees Remi getting hurt – that’s her fault and if leaving with Jacob means it’s going to keep Remi safe then she’s going to go.’
How exactly this storyline pans out remains to be seen, but Juliet told fans to expect ‘some danger’ as the narrative in question races towards its conclusion.
‘Well let’s just say with Jacob’s eyes on Bree and Remi, there’s some danger ahead,’ she told us, ‘and some very confronting drama so sit tight because it’s going to be a ride!’
Home and Away air weekdays at 1:45pm on Channel 5, with first look episodes airing at 6:30pm on 5Star.
