Home and Away: Rose and Mali embrace their new love while Mac could lose it all

There's a whole lot of love, and a whole lot of loss on Home and Away this week.

Mali and Rose are in a cosy love bubble in Home And Away this week – until his sister comes to town unexpectedly, demanding answers.
Good impressions go out the window when Mali's (Kyle Schilling) sister Elandra (Rarriwuy Hick) arrives on his doorstep, sending him and Rose (Kirsty Marillier) – who have spent the morning together in his caravan – scrambling to get dressed.

Despite wanting to take things slow, the young couple are finding being together hard to resist right now.
''They enjoy each other's company – so much so, they can't keep away from each other, even if they try,'' Kirsty, 32, tells TV WEEK.

When Mali greets Elandra, she gets straight to it, accusing her brother of moving to Summer Bay for a fling!
Rose folds into herself, hiding her embarrassment as the siblings argue.
But as she prepares to slip away, Elandra turns to her and invites her to have lunch with her – alone.

At Salt, the women get to talking. Elandra reveals that Mali moved to the Bay without telling his family and they want him to come home.
The policewoman counters by sharing what Mali brings to the town – and even admits her true feelings, surprising herself.
''Rose is after something easy and fun; Mali is an exact encapsulation of that,'' Kirsty says.
''As their storyline unfolds, one thing that becomes obvious is how undeniable their chemistry is.''

After a heart-to-heart with her brother, Elandra comes to realise Summer Bay could be just the fresh start he needs.
The siblings hug it out on the beach, crossing paths with their family friend Mackenzie (Emily Weir), who introduces them to Gabe (Akos Armont).
The recently united couple put on a happy face, but underneath, they're wallowing after a visit to the hospital revealed Gabe's cancer has not only returned but spread.
''Since being diagnosed, Gabe sees life differently, which is why he came back to see Mac,'' Emily says.
''Gabe has always held a place in her heart.''
Holding onto Gabe tightly, Mac's biggest fear sets in. Will she lose the man she loves so soon after finding him?
